Through our Strategic Partnership with North Brisbane TAFE we can now offer some unique GIS training and education pathways to our clients. We have three exciting new courses that dramatically improve the participants knowledge of GIS and MapInfo or ESRI applications while also contributing to a number of Certificate level courses through any TAFE in Australia.
The courses developed and trained by XY Mapping combine a mix of theory and practical components. Using the software application of the clients choice we believe this approach to training, (covering theories and GIS principles accompanied with relevant practical exercises to improve the software expertise) provides participants with a greater understanding of what they are doing and how to apply the power and efficiency of GIS to their roles and workplace, rather than just clicking buttons on a computer!
Upon satisfactory completion of one or more of these training courses, trainees will be issued with a certificate of completion and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) for the relevant module through North Brisbane TAFE. This RPL can then be applied to shorten the completion of a large range of courses delivered through TAFE from Spatial Science, Information Technology and Engineering to Office Administration, Management and Business Studies.
We are currently the only organisation in QLD able to offer TAFE Accredited GIS Training and can even customise the course to suit your specific organisational needs.
